Your cinnamon bun is something incredible! Thank you It was the most delicious breakfast of my life. Very clean, friendly staff, fulfilled all requests. Ukrainian was heard in the kitchen, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful morning! It was a good start to our trip. We will definitely come back.

Pretty standard breakfast fare. Tasty and a decent value. My over medium eggs cooked perfectly to order and the rye toast and hash browns (with cheese - because it makes you a better morning person according to their menu!) were very good. Filling hearty breakfast at a reasonable price. The cinnamon roll is large and in charge as advertised but I would caution against making it your entire meal (as a companion did) as it is extremely sweet due to the copious amounts of cinnamon sugar stickiness and icing. I can definitely appreciate the novelty of it and can easily see why people get a box! My only very small complaint was that when I asked to be sure there were no onions in the hash browns they still arrived with green onions on top that I had to pick out. Thankfully it was just a very strong preference and not an allergy so I didn’t sweat it too much.

Great small town diner. We had a whiskey burger and a Ruben sandwich which were delicious buuut let’s be real, we drove here for the cinnamon buns! They were amazing! I will definitely be back. Also, the staff were lovely!

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in—the place was spotless, with a fun, retro-inspired decor that felt both inviting and comfortable. The staff greeted me right away and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal; they were attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. I ordered the brisket tacos and their famous pickle soup. The tacos were generously filled with tender, flavorful brisket, topped with fresh cilantro and onions, and served with a side of creamy sauce and salsa. Each bite was juicy and satisfying. But the real standout was the pickle soup—creamy, tangy, and perfectly seasoned. It was unlike anything I’ve tried before, with a unique flavor that kept me coming back for more. Portion sizes were solid for the price, and I felt like I got great value for what I paid. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience—delicious food, friendly service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little different!

Every time I’m in the area, I stop by Roy's place and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fantastic, with generous portions and the service is fast and always friendly. You can tell the staff genuinely care about making your experience a good one. Since the new owners took over, the place has only gotten better. They’ve brought fresh energy and passion to the restaurant. If I'm in a rush, I always grab a box of their cinnamon buns on my way back to Calgary. They’re soft, gooey, and perfectly sweet. Honestly, some of the best I’ve ever had.

Marcella was our waitress and she was amazing! Recommended the cinnamon roll and it was mouth watering and huge! Great food, better service

Amazing place! We went here to try their famous cinnamon bun, but we ended up trying main courses as well! I had the Asian noodle bowl and that was delicious. The broth was very light, with just the slightest hint of ginger. It comes with a side of chili sauce for those who do not tolerate spicy food very well. I'm glad I visited this restaurant during my brief stay in Canada. I hope to visit again!

Stopped in on our way south for a bite to eat. All staff were friendly and courteous. Sue helped us and was prompt and attentive. Food came out quick and hit the spot. Made sure to get a cinnamon bun, which was as giant as ever. Might stop in for another bun on the way back through.
